Hyundai Motor Group unveils stunning Art Cars in Paris, showcasing its support for Busan's bid to host the 2030 World Expo.

Hyundai Motor Group (the Group) has unveiled its latest initiative to bolster the candidacy of Busan, South Korea, as the host city for the 2030 World Expo. This endeavor involves the exhibition of specially crafted art cars in the heart of Paris, France, where the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) is headquartered.

A total of ten uniquely designed art cars will take center stage during the Busan Expo Symposium and K-Pop concert, set to captivate the audience in Paris. Among these vehicles are eco-friendly, all-electric models, featuring Hyundai Motor's IONIQ 5 and the Kia EV6. These selections underscore Busan's resolute commitment to achieving carbon neutrality.

The captivating art cars are a result of a creative collaboration with renowned Korean graffiti artist 'JAY FLOW' and will grace the iconic landmarks of Paris, including the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre Museum.

This campaign marks another significant stride in the Group's unwavering global support for Busan's bid. The Busan Expo Symposium and K-Pop concert, taking place from October 9th to 15th, provide a platform to amplify Busan's vision for a carbon-neutral World Expo. The Group is providing the Korean delegation with a fleet of ten art cars, including two cutting-edge all-electric models—Hyundai Motor's IONIQ 5 and the Kia EV6.

Throughout the Paris campaign, these art cars will be showcased at prominent Parisian locations, offering a visual spectacle against the backdrop of renowned landmarks. This strategic move aims to bolster Busan's candidacy for the 2030 World Expo and resonate with key decision-makers from BIE member countries and global tourists.

The symposium itself will serve as a comprehensive platform to highlight Busan's diverse strengths and capabilities, presenting proposed themes to BIE member countries. All of these efforts will culminate in a crucial vote at the end of November to determine the host city for the 2030 World Expo.
